Where are Claudi's candles made?
Every candle is hand-poured in our studio in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, across three vessel tiers — the Coastal Tumbler, the Atelier Bamboo Jar and the Heritage Pillar — and poured in batches of 25, never per order.
Do you supply hospitality businesses in Franschhoek?
Yes. We work with guesthouses, boutique hotels, spas, and short-let properties across Cape Winelands. Bespoke fragrance development, branded vessels, and recurring fulfilment — request a sample kit on our hospitality page.
Can I order custom candles for my wedding in Franschhoek?
Yes. Wedding candles are a core part of what we do — pillars for centrepieces, branded tumblers for favours, and custom scents matched to the season. Reach out at least four weeks before the event for best results.
How long do your candles burn for?
Burn times depend on the vessel and the size: Coastal Tumblers 25–40 hours, Atelier Bamboo Jars 25–40 hours, and Heritage Pillars 27–180 hours. Actual burn time varies with wick trimming, draft conditions and burn session length — a wooden wick trades roughly 15% of it. Trim the wick to 5mm before each light and burn to a full melt-pool on the first burn.
