Claudi's is a boutique fragrance studio based in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa, trading as Claudi's. We operate the website at claudis.co.za. References to "we", "us", or "Claudi's" in this policy refer to this business.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

We collect personal information only when you interact with us:

• Order information: name, delivery address, email address, phone number, order contents and value.
• Account information: email address used to create a Claudi's account.
• Lead enquiries: business name, contact details, property type, estimated volume, and any brief you provide via our hospitality, wedding, corporate, or wholesale forms.
• Communications: content of any messages you send us.

We do not collect payment card details. Payment is processed directly by PayFast, who hold their own PCI-DSS compliance obligations.

• To process and fulfil your orders and send order confirmations.
• To respond to enquiries and follow up on trade leads.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, shipping updates) via Resend.
• To operate and improve the platform.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Your information is shared only where necessary to deliver our service:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting (EU/US servers).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• PayFast — payment processing. Their privacy policy governs payment data.
• PUDO / Courier Guy — shipping and delivery; your delivery address is shared to fulfil orders.
• Vercel — website hosting.

• Order records: retained for 5 years for accounting and legal compliance.
• Lead enquiries: retained for 2 years from last contact, then deleted.
• Account data: retained until you request deletion.

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention obligations).
• Object to processing of your information.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
